Mental Health Podcasts for You and for the People that you Love too

I’m a big fan of podcasts. Who isn’t really, these days? They are free (usually) and they are so convenient so you can listen while you’re walking (along the beach perhaps?), driving, stacking the dishwasher, gardening, well, you get the idea and you know you already do this alot.

Here are some of my favourite mental health podcasts and spotify links, and some others that my colleagues have recommended, and I am looking forward to enjoying very soon. Some will be familiar to you if you have read my other blogs, others maybe not. If you have one that you love, please share it with me me so I can add it to this blog, and I’ll even give you credit, if you want it. To help keep them from being overwhelming, I’ll add your suggestions in their own section.

Parent Hope Podcast

The Parent Hope Podcast with Dr Jenny Brown - Parenting is often a stressful endeavour making it very difficult to see what predictable patterns are developing in relating to and managing each child. However, when parents can learn what is and isn’t effective from observing their own patterns, they can make adjustments to themselves that improve outcomes for their children – especially for the child that worries them most.

I love this podcast because parents need all the help they can get, and this one resonates well with me as well as being based solidly in Bowen Family Systems theory.
