Parent Hope Project is
a 6 session, individualised coaching program
for a parent or parents who have a child who they feel is struggling
designed by Dr Jenny Brown (from the Family Systems Institute),
provides parents with fresh awareness and guiding principles to optimise the way they support their child’s wellbeing.
Parents are supported to manage their feelings and reactions towards their struggling child and to consider their role in encouraging their children’s potential for healthy development
based on Family Systems Theory

The cost is the same as a regular counselling session, and there are 7 sessions.

PHP is an evidence based and proven program based on Bowen Family Systems Theory, and has been developed by Dr Jenny Brown.

Your coach is a masters qualified, registered and insured therapist with years of experience as a counsellor, chaplain and parent. She has also completed the Parent Hope Coach training.

No, this program, only one parent or carer is required.

RMeeting times are flexible and will take into account your other commitments.

Yes you will, and you can refuse to answer any questions that you consider off limits. Any information collected by the coach will be stored on a secure server for the duration of the sessions and then deleted.

For the purpose of the volunteer program, there is also an introductory session to find out more about you and your situation and to help you be sure this is the right program for you. This session will be online at a time that suits you and your coach.

No. You may quit the program at any time should you choose to.

Not at all. Parenting is very hard. Many factors lead to a child’s struggles. However, there is hope for you and your family, as we investigate the aspects that are within our control.
